What a term we have had!
The children have all been working really hard this term, demonstrating positive learning habits and developing growth mind sets, taking on challenges and taking risks.
A highlight for us all was creating our very own fossils out of salt dough in science! This was lots of fun and very messy. The children have also shown us how they are good thinkers with enquiring minds throughout our ‘Mountains’ geography topic. We enjoyed learning all about The Alps and debating ‘Would you rather visit The Alps in the Summer or the Winter?’ When would you rather visit The Alps?
In English we have been writing our own ‘nags’ based on the book ‘The Nag Club’ by Anne Fine. We enjoyed acting out the different nags before writing our own nags to Mr Fletcher and Mrs Hopton! In PE we have been improving our game tactics in hockey and using the new hall for gymnastics! Lego Club has been a big hit with the year three children and they have created some amazing models!
